Modifications:

I created a complete and coherent level on level 1 by adding in a huge building in section 1 with many more enemies and pikcups.  Section two now has a massive platforming section and section 3 is an area that spawns a bunch of enemies meaning the player has to rush to the end portal before they die.

I created custom music for my game including menu music, in game music, and boss music.

I also modified enemy behavior by making the ground melee enemy move much faster, the ground shooter enemies now fire faster and deal 2 damage with each shot as well as having more life, flying shooters move much faster and shoot 4 shots at once quickly, and the self destructing enemy now moves much faster and doesn't deal damage to allow for an interesting platforming section in section 2.
